R4 Incorporated Adds Vincent Amos as Joint Data Exchange (JDE) Program Manager

R2-3G Contract Supports Federal and State Agencies with Critical Equipment and Engineering Services to Government System, Platform and Item Managers Worldwide

May 15, 2009—Eatontown, New Jersey—R4 Incorporated (R4), a defense service company providing integrated engineering, training, fielding, logistics, and counter-IED solutions to various Federal agencies, including DoD and Homeland Security, is proud to announce that they are one of seven contractors to be awarded a Rapid Response - Third Generation (R2-3G) contract to provide engineering, technical, and program services for the Department of Defense (DoD), other federal agencies, and state and local governments. Ceiling value of the contract has been set at $16.4 billion over a five year period of performance. R4 is one of only two small businesses to be awarded a R2-3G contract. “Winning this R2-3G award not only demonstrates that R4's core competencies closely mirror the current needs of our customers, but also illustrates the demonstrated commitment and responsive service R4 provides to our customers and the Warfighter. We are privileged to be entrusted with such an enormous task and we are up for the challenge” said Scottie Crockett, R4 Chief Executive Officer. 

The multiple award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) R2-3G contract is the third generation of rapid response contracts issued by the US Army's Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) located at Fort Monmouth, NJ. R2-3G is designed to provide a rapid response vehicle for government managers to efficiently contract support services anywhere around the world. The program supports tasks and services in the areas of technology insertion, system integration/installation, fabrication/prototyping, testing/certification, studies/ analyses, logistic support services, training and engineering support services, including re-engineering and reverse engineering, for a range of equipment and services.
