R4: Compensation & Benefits Summary
R4 Incorporated strives to offer a competitive compensation and an attractive benefits package. R4's benefits strategy is to provide quality and choice for you and your family.
This Benefits Summary is a guide to familiarize prospective employees with our organization. This Benefits Summary is not intended to take the place of more detailed benefit plan documents. In the event of conflict with those plan documents, such documents will be deemed controlling. Specific questions about the contents of the Benefits Summary, R4's policies or R4's benefits should be directed to Human Resources Department.
R4 Incorporated values the efforts that employees put into their work, and recognizes the importance of leave time. For this reason, R4 provides paid leave for the following:
- Vacations: Employees accrue time at a standard rate each pay period.
- Holidays: R4 recognizes all major government holidays
- Sick/Personal Time: Employees accrue time at a standard rate each pay period
401K Profit Sharing Plan
R4 Inc. offers a 401K Plan for all of our employees. You are eligible to sign up when you begin working for R4.
All regular full time CONUS employees receive paid holidays per year, which normally consist of the following:
- New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- President's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Columbus Day
- Veteran's Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Hospitalization/Major Medical and Prescription coverage is available to all regular full time R4, Inc. employees and their dependents under a group policy. These programs include :
- Medical: Carefirst Blue Cross/Blue Shield-Blue Preferred is our provider of NATIONWIDE hospitalization/Medical and Prescription coverage.
- Prescription: Carefirst Blue Cross/Blue Shield-Blue Preferred is our provider of NATIONWIDE hospitalization/Medical and Prescription coverage.
- Dental: Carefirst Blue Cross/Blue Shield-Blue Preferred is our provider of NATIONWIDE hospitalization/Medical and Prescription coverage.
- Vision: Carefirst Blue Cross/Blue Shield-Blue Preferred is our provider of NATIONWIDE hospitalization/Medical and Prescription coverage.
Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI) offers R4 employees a discounted program.
Lincoln Financial is our current Life & AD&D Insurance provider. A life & AD&D insurance policy is carried on all CONUS and OCONUS, full-time R4, Inc. employees at the company's expense. You may purchase additional voluntary life and/or add coverage (for employee only), at the employee's expense.
Flexible Spending Account
A Flexible Spending Account is a program that the Federal Government allows your employer to sponsor. It enables you (the employee) to save federal, state and Social Security (FICA) taxes on the money you use to pay for eligible expenses. The tax savings will increase your take-home pay.
New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance
If you working/residing in New Jersey, you can apply for auto insurance with New Jersey Manufacturers. NJM provides high quality insurance at premium value to R4 employees.
AFLAC Supplemental Policies
American Family Life Assurance Company of Columbus (Aflac) is supplemental insurance. Aflac's policies are not intended to replace/change your major medical coverage or other insurance currently offered through R4. Aflac pays you cash benefits to help off set expenses. Benefit payments made to policyholders are based on services received. Aflac does not coordinate with other insurance so that benefits received are in addition to any other insurance coverage. Aflac supplemental policies are optional coverage and employee will pay for this benefit. Aflac enrollment packages are available upon request.
