R4 Incorporated Awarded JOICEUR JAC Contract
July 2011 R4 Incorporated Creates State-of-the-Art Real Time Incident Notification Software for Bomb Squads
May 2011 L. Scott Crockett, R4's CEO said, “This software is critical to minimizing confusion and increasing responsiveness, interoperability and safety officers in the field especially in situations where multiple locations are targeted.” R4's Engineering Center has created a customizable real-time notification system tailored for customer individual needs. This capability developed from work with bomb squads in the Boston area. R4 engineers and subject matter experts used the EPIC framework to create an application that provides real-time situation reporting and incident notification with the ability to notify bomb squads regionally and/nationally of an emerging event. This application, known as BRIEF - Bomb Real-time Incident Notification - gives bomb squads the ability to execute real-time information sharing and the ability to initiate and register new cases with existing systems (such as BATS). BRIEF's expert systems turns raw data into actionable intelligence, leading to better assessment and decision-making during time-critical events. Click here to view BRIEF in action.
