R4 Incorporated Awarded JOICEUR JAC Contract

R4 Incorporated is pleased to announce the award of a JOICEUR (Joint Intelligence Operations Center Europe) Analytics Center (JAC) A&P Support contract. JIOCEUR JAC at Royal Air Force Base Molesworth, UK is the primary European Theater intelligence organization responsible for maintain situational awareness for 52 countries spanning two land masses.

R4 will be supplying development, project management and information technology technical services that enable JIOCEUR to

     1. Successfully provide the technical and operational support functions that enable JAC's analysis and production (A&P) mission, and
     2. Successfully provide the technical and operational support functions that enable JIOCEUR to service a diverse set of national and international partners.

The period of performance has a twelve month base, with two additional twelve month options.

R4 Incorporated Creates State-of-the-Art Real Time Incident Notification Software for Bomb Squads

R4 Incorporated, a defense service company providing integrated engineering, training, fielding, logistics and counter-IED solutions to various Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security, is pleased to announce the roll out of Event and Personnel Intelligence Correlation - EPIC - R4's real-time incident notification engine and framework. EPIC provides real-time decision support and notification tools to gather and distribute mission-critical information from the right sources to the right places at the right time.

L. Scott Crockett, R4's CEO said, “This software is critical to minimizing confusion and increasing responsiveness, interoperability and safety officers in the field especially in situations where multiple locations are targeted.”

R4's Engineering Center has created a customizable real-time notification system tailored for customer individual needs. This capability developed from work with bomb squads in the Boston area. R4 engineers and subject matter experts used the EPIC framework to create an application that provides real-time situation reporting and incident notification with the ability to notify bomb squads regionally and/nationally of an emerging event. This application, known as BRIEF - Bomb Real-time Incident Notification - gives bomb squads the ability to execute real-time information sharing and the ability to initiate and register new cases with existing systems (such as BATS). BRIEF's expert systems turns raw data into actionable intelligence, leading to better assessment and decision-making during time-critical events.

R4 Incorporated Launches Software Engineering Center

R4 Incorporated, a defense service company providing integrated engineering, training, fielding, logistics, and counter-IED solutions to various Federal agencies, including the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security, is pleased to announce today the launch of its newest endeavor, the R4 Software Engineering Center.

The R4 Software Engineering Center specializes in development of high performance network-centric intelligent systems on a variety of platforms and interfaces, including mobile and desktop. Additionally, the Center's engineers are skilled in mission planning and execution, system integration, decision support, cyber security and real-time collaboration. Center expertise encompasses waterfall, prototyping, spiral, Scrum, and rapid application development methodologies.

R4 Incorporated Hires Rich Bormann to Lead Its Software Engineering Center

R4 Incorporated, a defense service company providing integrated engineering, training, fielding, logistics and counter-IED solutions to various Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security, is pleased to announce the hiring of Rich Bormann to lead its Software Engineering Center.

Mr. Bormann is responsible for full life-cycle software engineering and leads R4's engineering efforts across all business lines including the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security. He has a wide variety of experience covering the architecture, design and development of projects ranging from research and development to production. Mr. Bormann has experience with diverse software development methodologies including waterfall, prototyping spiral, Scrum and rapid application development. He is particularly focused on developing customer-focused applications in the area of artificial intelligence, expert systems and robotic elements supporting system of systems and network centric efforts. Mr. Bormann is also involved in developing web-based solutions leveraging cloud computing and Web 2.0.

R4 Incorporated Receives Defense Contract Audit Agency's Highest Rating

R4 Incorporated, a defense service company providing integrated engineering, training, fielding, logistics, and counter-IED solutions to various Federal agencies, including the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security, is pleased to announce that following a thorough accounting system audit, the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) granted the company a rating of adequate, its highest rating level.

DCAA performs all necessary contract audits for the Department of Defense and provides accounting and financial advisory services regarding contracts and subcontracts to all DoD components responsible for procurement and contract administration.

Scott Crockett, R4's CEO, commented that “It's great that our accounting system got a clean bill of health from DCAA. Now we are ready to move ahead with additional support helping to protect and serve Warfighters in theater.”

R4 Incorporated Secures $10M Line of Credit with PNC Bank, NA

R4's CEO, L. Scott Crockett, noted that “This line of credit provides R4 the flexibility to offer even better service to our customers.”

“...even in these difficult times, I found working with PNC and their Senior Vice President for Corporate Banking-Government Contracting, Doug Brown, edifying and ultimately fruitful. All of our dealings with PNC were tough but very fair.” said R4's Senior Financial Officer, Sterling Crockett.

R4 Incorporated Senior Financial Officer Sworn in as Chair of Montgomery County (MD) Chamber of Commerce

Sterling Crockett, Senior Financial Officer of R4 Incorporated, was sworn in as the Chair of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce at its Annual Dinner on June 9th at the Bethesda North Conference Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

Speaking before a packed house of over 800 attendees, Mr. Crockett spoke about bringing his personal and professional desire to work for the greater common good to his leadership year at the Chamber. "One of the things that's always interested and impressed me about the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce . . . is that it had a vision that was inclusive of interests that are not exclusively business-related but that ultimately effect business," Crockett said. ". . . focusing on these diverse issues is looking out for the greater common good."

Mr. Crockett pledged to keep forging ahead on the Chambers programs of most importance to him, GovConNet, Green Business Certification and the Veterans Institute for Procurement (for which R4 is the major sponsor). And most importantly, Mr. Crockett assured his fellow small business owners that "this year, small business will have a strong advocate at the Chamber and in the Chamber's dealings."

Mr. Crockett closed his remarks with a call to action for his fellow board and Chamber members. "We live in a free capitalist society and we are permitted to say what we want and to live out our dreams of success. I will be successful in this role - as Chair of the Board - if I can - with all of you - continue and grow the plan of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce - to serve the business community and to contribute to the greater common good."

Mr. Crockett's tenure as Chair of the Board runs through June of 2011.
