R4 Incorporated Joins US Army Reserve Employer Partnership

January 8, 2010—Eatontown, New Jersey—R4 Incorporated (R4), a defense service company providing integrated engineering, training, fielding, logistics, and counter-IED solutions to various Federal agencies, including DoD and Homeland Security, is proud to announce its membership in the U.S. Army Reserve Employer Partnership Initiative.

At no other time in our history has it been more critical for the U.S. Army Reserve to develop and maintain solid, meaningful relationships with civilian Employers. To that end, the Chief of the Army Reserve, Lt. Gen. Jack C. Stultz, created the innovative Employer Partnership Initiative. His vision is for a collaborative effort that will sustain a viable operational Army Reserve, capable of caring for Soldiers and their Families, and provide R4 with a no-cost link to highly skilled and talented Army Reserve Soldiers.

The Army Reserve is aware of the potential impact a Soldier’s deployment can have on R4’s ability to maintain business operations. Through its current five-year rotational training and deployment schedule, the Army Reserve is able to give R4 a more predictable picture of their future staffing needs and offers Soldiers and Families the chance to better prepare for an upcoming deployment.

In today’s world, it is paramount for R4 and the Army Reserve to collaborate on promoting the inherent benefits of our shared workforce while addressing the challenges and methods unique to employing Warrior-Citizens. R4 is committed to the partnership with the Army Reserve that meet both our goals.

R4 believes that this new approach to attracting, developing and retaining top-notch talent will ensure that the Army Reserve can continue to fulfill its operational requirements in meeting the security needs of our Nation. Through the Employer Partnership Initiative, Lt. Gen. Stultz demonstrates his support of Soldiers as they meet the high expectations of serving the country and also providing for their Families.

In our partnership with the Army Reserve, R4 can look to more than one million talented Army Reserve Soldiers in filling our staffing needs. These potential employees have been pre-screened and fully trained in the technical, specialized and professional capabilities R4 needs. The opportunity to hire from a skilled labor force has the potential to reduce business recruiting and training costs. This dual opportunity provides stability to Families, and gives Soldiers additional possibilities to achieve both their civilian and military career goals. The Initiative serves as a way to thank Soldiers and their Families for their selfless service and dedication.

R4 believes that Soldiers who possess advanced skills, certifications and education are valuable employees and Soldiers which in part is an essential element in sustaining the All-Volunteer Force for the future. That viability must be assured by both parties R4 and the Army Reserve working together for the benefit of Army Reserve Soldiers their Families and our Nation.
